I remember this site.  I am pleased for the man and his bird.  I dont know
what it takes to bond to a Grey that he will fly back too you.  My
experiences are like the group; bird is anxious to fly away, and can be a
problem to get back.

It shouldn't be.  Dogs come back.  Birds are more intelligent than dogs.  We just don't risk training them as you can run after a dog.  People who do train them have good success.
