I wouldn't put them out until the threat of frosts have gone. If the aviary
is well sheltered the birds will be fine outside all year round with no
heating.

Why bring them in and out all the time?

When you say and outside 'cage' do you really mean a cage outside? If so,
what shelter from the weather will it have in case of rain, or strong
sunlight?
You cannot in any case put them out until the end of May. You would need a
proper aviary though not just a cage which will not be secure enough from
thieves and predators.
If you didn't want to keep them indoors as they have been used to why did
you take them on?
