Parakeet all of a sudden sleeping at the top of the cage. Why?

Hi,

I recently moved. I have two budgies. One of them has started sleeping
at the top of the cage and I'm concerned. I thought it was cold, so I
doubled the blanket I cover them with. But she's still doing it. I
thought it might be the vent across the room (low heat), so I turned
it off overnight when it was warm, but didn't solve it.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

She's in a new place and wants to be as high as possible to protect
herself from any possible unfamiliar predators.  My birds vie for the
highest spot in the cage every night.  As long as she's eating and
pooping normally, I don't see a problem. That's a normal behaviour.
