Someone posted a recipe a while back. I have a dumb question - the corn meal
that you use for this, should it be plain or self rising?

(told you it was a dumb question)  THANKS! Debbie

I just took another look at the recipe. She says the finished
bread should be fairly dense, so I assume that she uses plain
corn meal.

I bet the birds don't care which kind you use, as long as there
are lots of seeds and berries for them to pick at.

I now know what to do with any fruit-cake received at Christmas time... no
more door-stops or book-ends, they will become bird food.
