Picked up some sandstone and slate rock pieces from my local bulk
landscape store for my 20 gallon freshwater tank.  Can anyone tell me
if these are good to use in an aquarium?  Any comments at all?  Thanks

Slate is ok, but I don't know about the sandstone. See if the sandstone
reacts with vinegar? If it does, it may increase the pH of your aquarium.

Sandstone is also fine as it is inert.
