What would be the way to add plants to an already cycled tank with fish and
live plants?

Thanks

I toss my new plants in a 10 gallon tank with just a few fish in it, and
leave them there for a couple weeks to see if anything weird develops. I've
seen it recommended to soak them for 10 minutes in a light pink, weak
solution of potassium permaganate to kill any funkiness that might come with
the plant, though if you can figure out what this stuff is or where to buy
it, you've done a lot better than I have.

If where you buy your plants keeps fish and plants in the same tank, I'd
look over their fish really well for any signs of parasites or disease
before buying plants out of that tank.
