If you have plants, add 5-6 Otocinclus to eat soft algae off of the leaves. If you have black brush algae, 2-3 siamese algae eaters (C. siamensis) will keep it in check. Mystery snails and Amano shrimp (Caradina spp.) also eat algae and are fun to keep with peaceful fish. Small shrimp may be eaten, though.
