For nitrites (NO2), water changes, and a bit of salt in the water to help
the fish.  Really need to go after the root cause, unless it's your first
bout of 'cycling'.

But if you mean nitrates (NO3), then the answer is completely different.

Nitrex by interpet. Nitra-zorb. These two products might starve and existing
filter/etc. though.
