Hi, anybody seen or read about a sexchange with Lombardoi before? I have a female, she had one nest. After i gave the man to a friend of mine, she was/is alone with an other female Lombardoi in the tank (and her 2 young). Now she is changing color, from blue to yellow and she has an eggspot. The female Lomardoi also known as a Kenyi will change her colouration as well... In fact I have a female that is tan borwn and one that is purple blue .. They both still breed with the rather large male.. Even though the colouration is still different between the too.. No, I don't believe it is possible for Kenyi to change sex... Tim |
