Hi,

Not even sure I fully know what I'm talking about here but does anyone use a
moonlight tube for after the main lights go out. I know they use them in
reff tanks for corals that glow. If so what is it and how long is it on for
etc...

tia,

Ummm... its usually a "high intensity" white LED light that simulates the
Moon's glow.  Some corals like to have this as their reproduction depends
on it (if you are so lucky as to have a home grown bloom) There is zero
reason to have it in a Malawi tank.
