Just changed our pond from Koi to Cichlids in Miami FL.
Anyone out there with Chichlid ponds in other warm areas?
What should I expect as potential issues?

even a little north of you here in Pasco county Fl I did that , by next year
you'll have thousands of the guys as I do .....Although I had to use a
heater for my pond on the colder days & nights..but they acclimate well to
the transition.

I was told that the females are all dull and brown. I intended to only
purchased males. I was told that their breeding habits make rabbits look
like nuns. I wouldn't know what to do with all the small fish. I don't want
to get over populated.
