Greetings Mark & Mr. Cockatiel Information Management Administrator
Webmaster.
.
I agree with your post, Mark.
.
(After proof-reading this first sentence I noticed I should have typed,
"Mark, I agree with your post." -- I don't know what Mark's post mark looks
like, and if I did I should probably make my comments in
rec.collecting.stamps.discuss, a newsgroup consisting of a militia
discussing philatelic minutia such as ink marks blotted on mildewed paper,
and as far as I know, none consisting of millet. But I do digress.)
.
Strictly speaking as being birdy-less in Bowie, and never having owned a
bird, let alone a cockatiel, I would have to say the Cockatiel Information
web site is spectacular. If I owned a bird, especially if I was a newby
bird owner, this site would definitely be bookmarked (not that I know what
kind of books Mark reads). The Cockatiel Information site is very easy to
read, well organized, and can be navigated with no trouble. (Only one minor
flaw, Mr. Corey. You might want to check the first sentence under the
section "Behavior/Physical Care".) A splendid job, Corey.
.
Corey, I also agree with Mark's view about Usenet. I prefer to call it
UseRneT because of all the childish behavior -- sometimes even my own --
that it contains. But there are also a bunch of decent characters that use
UseRneT and a lot of good information being shared. Having access to
UseRneT is sometimes like having access to good people like your neighbor,
Miss Marci.
.
Mr. Cockatiel Info Management, please keep us informed (without using all
Caps) of updates and new photo contests on your web site. Those pictures
are great. Yes, keep on keepin' on!!!
.
Respectfully,
Gordon Lee

Would that be Booey, MD? ;-)
I used to live in Burtonsville, and then in Germantown for a while back
between '91 and '97. I still miss the region...

Greetings Mr. North.
.
Yes sir, you found me out ... Bowie, the home of the infamous "*Bowie
Goatman*" <no relation>.
.
I moved up to Burtonsville (Green Castle Apts) from Texass back in '76 and
then to Bowie in '78. Been here ever since.
.
* For those interested, do a web search and read the story about a 'mad
scientist', government spending cuts, and a husbandry experiment that went
terribly wrong. A really true urban legend.*

I'd tell you about my broken pencil, but there's just no point.
