Tiels, excellent site and pictures!  Fascinating to see different parrot
species interrelate!

Percy, our (now lost) cockatiel had formed a bit of a codependent
relationship with a  rescued lovebird, Elby, getting feeds from him like a
juvenile.  Also, Percy used to let himself out of his cage, go across and
let himself into the Elby's cage and sit with him.  We passed Elby on to an
aviary earlier this year, where I think he'll be happier, and Percy was fine
without him (and stopped imitating the lovebird noise so much).

Cockatiels are amazingly social!  Sometimes I'd be looking for Percy and
find him in the indoor rabbit hutch, sharing food with the rabbit and
guineapig, or just sitting in the doorway to their house.

Cheers,

Ian T.
