This is a non binary newsgroup (that means no pictures). You could post the pics on something like alt.pics.animals or on a webalbum and post the url here. My server doesn't display them, and it doesn't pass them on to the next machine in the downstream chain. Most news servers are configured this way, although of course some aren't. I never see them, which is fine with me. Saves me server space. If I want to see pictures, I can go to web sites where the pictures are saved on the picture's owener's server.
