I have a 14 year old cockatiel who breaths very heavy when excited.  She is
still laying eggs.  I gave her 5 day antibiotic, ornabac, and fresh fruit
and veggie every day.  Any suggestions?

She's getting up there in age, sounds like a vet trip is called for, for her
14yrs of  caring and yours, self medicating can lead to dread,.

Have your vet check the bird for internal tumors.  I had a parakeet that lived
15 years, but alas, a tumor developed on its back.
