Hello bird enthusiast.
There are 7 cockatiel eggs in the nesting box of my bird cage. If all those
7 eggs hatch, then I'll have the burden of taking care of 10 cockatiels...oh
my. I'm gonna feel like i'm living inside of an aviary.
Now my question is, once those eggs hatch(if they do)...can I sell them to a
local petshop? or do petshops have their own established suppliers of pets?
or do they just breed their own stock?

It all depends on the individual stores. Most mom and pop stores would
probably be glad to take the birds. I've seen people bring in litters of
hamsters to Petco, so they may also have some interest. I'd contact any pet
stores well before you need to bring them in so that they can be prepared
and so that you have time to find someplace else if they aren't interested.
Just don't expect to get much $ for them.

If you have taken the responsibility of allowing your cockatiels too
have young, it is your duty to not only hand rear the babies yourself to
give them the best chance of finding good owners who will love them, but
to advertise and pick potential owners carefully from the people who
respond. Do not simply sell to whom ever offers the most money. Vet them
carefully, give them plenty of info as regards caring for their new pet,
suggest books, ask to see the cage to ensure it is big enough and make
sure they know that if it all goes pearshaped in a year or two, if they
get divorced, have a baby, move home or develope allergies (the most
common excuses to get rid of a pet), that you will gladly have the bird
back from them. If you are not prepared to take responsibility for the
little lives you caused to be brought into the world, then you ought not
to be breeding.
Only my opinion of course, based on my own beliefs and actions.

And she bit the doctor's thumb off.......
And her mother said - "Hell no - get it away from me!"
And they left her down by the river in a trailer park....

And this is more food for the troll. Even mentioning a troll is
nourishment. Pretend it is AIDs and stay away from even mentioning
the troll. Just a suggestion.

Might work - but only if we *all* do it. I'm prepared to if everybody else
is prepared to.....but if nobody else is going to, well then I'm not going
to miss out on all the fun! lol

That gives your opinion as much value as if you had read it in a Dr. Seuss
book.
