A woman's 13-week-old Macaw has been hanging out way the hell up in a tree,
or on a nearby powerline (she says its wings are clipped) for three days now
and made local news. It refuses to come down.
The TV news showed a big, wide, squawking middle-aged woman
who...well...let's just say if she was topless, her knees would still never
get cold. She's standing out in the middle of the street hollering and
bellowing for her bird. "Here [name]! COME HERE! I HAVE FOOD! DON'T MAKE
ME COME UP THERE! YOU COME DOWN NOW, YOU HEAR ME?! HERE [name name name
name name]. Meanwhile, the bird is visible on camera staring back at her
and preening itself. It waited for the firetruck ladder to get close before
flying off to a nearby telephone pole. (and back, which it has been doing
since this weekend.)
Unfortunately we just had a bad rain storm yesterday and the bird might be
in trouble if it doesn't come down, but otherwise the story is hilarious.
That woman would have driven me up a tree too.

If it is sitting on a powerline and the Fireman grabs it, the story will be
over but, some of the feathers may be kept as souvenirs.

Same here, but I would have been long gone away from her!

News report last night said he came down and is alright despite three days
of rainy weather. The owner has him on a harness now. Maybe if she would
should just have somebody who knows what they're doing clip his wings...

Thank god the bird is back where he belongs! Clipping the wings is the
best thing she should do!
