Laurie - 04 Oct 2004 19:05 GMT I just blocked all the block heads who can't post on topic and you know what? There's only 3 posts left that are actually on topic. You a.sholes have totally trashed this newsgroup...hope you're freaking happy.
Oh yeah, and to keep on topic, Mel & Mollie are doing great after the summer at the Funny Farm. They hated it there but are now doing well.

Piezo Guru - 05 Oct 2004 01:38 GMT I love you Laurie!

They hated it there but are now doing well. Oh! Hi Laurie :-)
haven't seen you here for awhile.... am i one of the blockheads? have you killfiled me? I hope not - i used to enjoy your posts. It seems now that both you and Marco have gone, nobody is left to have a serious (on topic) discussion with... (No offence, Pam, Ray and LT, but we *do* (myself included) seem to talk alot of nonsense.....)
Glad your birds are doing well :-)
Rayzor - 05 Oct 2004 09:21 GMT > > Oh! Hi Laurie :-) > [quoted text clipped - 7 lines] > > Glad your birds are doing well :-) How are your birds Mark?
Mark Wilson - 05 Oct 2004 11:09 GMT > How are your birds Mark? I only have the 1. He's doing great. Although, being spring, he's quite moody atm, hissing when I go past his cage. The other day, he bit my dad's ear really hard lol

Mark Wilson - 06 Oct 2004 01:27 GMT > I've got a moody fiery shouldered conure, he bit my brother today. It's the > first time he's ever bit anyone. Must be the change of seasons? Yeah I think so. Although last year he was pretty cranky through the summer. Hopefully this year he won't be so bad. They bloody hurt when they decide to bite hard! lol Usually he always has a little "pretend" bite and it just tickles you on the ear lobe, but when he decides to, I think he could nearly pierce your ear!! I'd hate to be bitten really hard by a macaw!!

A bit of nonsense makes the world go around :0)
Mark Wilson - 05 Oct 2004 11:09 GMT > But who wants to be deadly serious at all times? A bit of nonsense makes the > world go around :0) Too true :-D

Do you actually care if you are killfiled, Mark?
Mark Wilson - 06 Oct 2004 03:44 GMT > Do you actually care if you are killfiled, Mark? *shrugs* not really. But Laurie used to okay to talk Tiels with. I don't really care either way.
Laurie - 20 Jan 2005 03:15 GMT Just a reminder....remember saying this?

Yes indeed I do.
I'm not pretending we don't talk rubbish here. We do. But it's fun. Would I rather talk about on-topic stuff? I don't really care anymore. There's a great group of people here (except jynx) who we can all share a laugh with, and occasionally talk Tiels. That's good enough for me. If you want to exclude yourself from that just because you want to be a purist, then really, it's your loss, not ours. You are not unwelcome here, but don't go all high and mighty with us.

Without that info your post is just as off topic as anyone elses.
To be the only one on topic here - I no longer have cockatiels, but my knowledge regarding them is still useful.

He's another wannabe troll who failed.

Why do you no longer have cockatiels, if you don't mind me asking?
Mark Wilson - 06 Oct 2004 03:46 GMT > MJ, > > Why do you no longer have cockatiels, if you don't mind me asking? Animal Welfare came and confiscated them.
Norbert Eggert - 07 Oct 2004 06:16 GMT > MJ, > > Why do you no longer have cockatiels, if you don't mind me asking? Toxic fumes. I haven't brought any more home because I found 'tiels to be the least interesting of any species I've owned and my flock was already big enough anyway. Next question - what other species do I have? BFA - sun, blue crowned, black-capped, green cheek conures - pacific parrotlet - 2 senegals - pf lovebird - indian ringneck parakeet.

I think they are interesting, but yet maybe it's because the only other bird I've ever had was a Parakeet.... I've read up a little on indian ringnecks and I find them very interesting.... are they a talkative bird?
Orville Friermuth - 08 Oct 2004 06:04 GMT > The least interesting? I think they are interesting, but yet maybe > it's because the only other bird I've ever had was a Parakeet.... I did say "least interesting" and not 'uninteresting'
> I've > read up a little on indian ringnecks and I find them very > interesting.... are they a talkative bird? Talkative? nope, most of the asian parrots aren't much for talking - but there are exceptions and someone is bound to chime in and tell me I'm wrong cuz their asain bird talks up a storm. And mine is probably less interesting than my 'tiels were - they died prior to the IR being given to me last October.
