There seems to be little or no action in the budgies news group so I
am putting this here ... it should be of interest.  If not .. delete.

"They're generally agreed to be crimson-fronted parakeets, native to
Central America. Marked with red patches on their faces, the green
parakeets are bigger than the typical pet budgie most people are
familiar with. "

I am not familiar with this bird and just picked up "budgie" as the
article said they are bigger than the typical budgie.

Thanks

What would be the point of posting this in alt.pets.parrots.budgerigars?  So
you got an erection over the word budgie appearing in the article.  The
birds discussed as the topic of the article aren't budgies.

What's the f.cking point of posting this here?  Not only are they not
budgies, but this is a cockatiel news group?

I would say the "point" is because it is/was interesting and shows the
adaptability of our birds.

delete."

And what is the point of your dirty mouth?  A weak mind and a limited
vocabulary attempting to express itself, I suppose.

No reply expected and no further posts from this end.

and you also stated that you were posting it here because there was no
traffic in the budgie group?  What sense does that make?  The article has
absolutely nothing to do with budgies.  If you want to post an article about
birds just do it.  Trying to make up excuses for it is what makes you look
like a twit of an a.shole.

That's a very typical psycho-analysis from someone who has no clue about
psychiatry (or much else for that matter).

Why do you think anyone cares if you are expecting a reply or not?  You
obviously don't know me or you would be expecting this reply.

Empty promises.

Obviously someone who just looked at the picture and didn't (couldn't?) read
the article.

The picture used is of  quaker (monk0 parakeets, but the article isn't about
monk parakeets.  Dumbshits who know nothing about birds think that know one
would notice that they used a picture of some other species.

BTW - this has nothing to do with feral budgies.
Piezo Guru - 23 Oct 2004 03:58 GMT
Are there state budgies too or just feral ones?
