We looked in to check on a pair of our breeders, she is a Pearl and he is a Gray, to our surprise, there lay a just hatched red-eyed lutino the second was a gray.. Cool. :-) We also have from another pair, thier first clutch, what would visually appear to be a white tiel, she is a Cinn whiteface and he is a Pastel, another cool one more fertile egg to hatch. Are they rare over there??? Nope cos lutino means yellow with red eyes, just as albino is white with red eyes. I was being sarky.You wouldn't get a lutino with eyes any colour other than red :0) I have a couple of lutinos in my mixed aviary.I like my cockatiels a lot even though I have big parrots too, I will never be without cockatiels. Hmmm I think I'm feeling broody. Might allow them to breed next year. Hey Raymondo old mate, give yuletide greetings to the missus from me please. And my timnehs are working the nest box:-) The male 'Buzby' has got even more savage than normal and if I want to go into the aviary I have to net him to stop him attacking me.
