Hi all
I was very happy to see that there is a news group for Cockateil lovers.
I was very disappointed to see there is very little Cockateil relate
information around
on the caring for and feed of them.
Could anyone please recommend a site or 2 with some detials.
I just bought 6 birds 3 breeding pairs and I am about to build them a new
cage.
I could use Info on breeding boxes and cage size for them.
Please I mean no disrespect when I say not much around about them.
its just that All I have read in here so far has been flaming and Im not
wanting to be a target.
Thanks to any and all that read this and to anyone that can point me to info
I am very
Thankfull in Advance
Cheers

You would have to ask a specific question to receieve a specific answer. we
are not mind readers and can be quite helpful.

BTW: Get a thicker skin or you won't learn anything.

best of luck

Oh dear, oh DEAR.

IOW, no of course not.  It was a deliberate (and time-honoured) way of
humorously misspelling the word.

I'm wasted here...

You're right, perhaps you should run out the clock in another newsgrope.

I have to admit that i also find the flaming off-putting along with the
troll-like behavior exhibited in some topics.

i dont mind a joke now and then but too much excess can be off-putting.

Is somebody pointing a gun at your head and making you read every post? Or
do you have the intelligence to ignore what you want.

So only read the threads you want to.
You can usually tell once the conversation declines into flaming.
You *do* realise you don't need to read every single message don't you?

Just read what you want to read... are you being forced to read what
you don't want to read?

Oh, you mean here.  The residents bicker among themselves when traffic is
slow.

Why by breeding pairs when you don't know what the hell you're doing?  That
research should have been done before buying.

> I could use Info on breeding boxes and cage size for them.

Again, why the hell would you by something if you don't have a god damned
clue?

<snip>

Ignore Zach Q, Dave.
He is probably one of THE most unhelpful souls here.

If you pick through our mess, you can still get great info here.
It helps if you ask a really specific question, so that we can give you a
detailed answer.

If you want to check out a moderated group, I beleive there may be some on
yahooGroups or msn...
But they are nowhere near as fun as here ;-)

Good luck!

Welcome Dave! Maybe if you do a Google search and type in "cockatiel
breeding", "cockatiel cage sizes", or anything else you want help
with, you will get all kinds of info...

If you want, you can stay here for a laugh or two!

Cheers,
LT
