A while back I posted about hearing about a Cockatiel these idiots
owned that had a broken leg. The avian rescue and adoption told me
they would update me on what's been going on with the bird. They did
come and take the bird with the owner's permission and the bird did
have a broken leg. I heard today he's doing fine and recovering
nicely :-) He will be up for adoption real soon. Good to hear - just
thought I would share this.

That was good to hear.  Thanks for the update on this Cockatiel.  Hope
this bird gets a loving home.

I was going to ask about this.  Thanks for letting us know.

BTW, How did the vet fix the leg?  Is it in a splint?  How is the bird
being housed.

I never asked. I was only happy the bird was being taken care of.

So, big deal. you are an avain snitch?  Well I hope you are proud of
yourself!!

because you should be....a great story! and a very successful one.

People like you make a difference when they stick their necks out in fear of
getting it chopped off.

We are proud of you too LT!...nice going! Glad it worked out.

Ahhh thank you PG! I was thinking of the poor bird and I didn't want
to see it suffer any longer!

This is great news!  I'm glad you stepped in to help out the bird.
