Hi all, Henri first started laying eggs two years ago at the age of 12-13. We had to resort to relocating and buying her a new cage in order to get her to stop. She didn't lay any eggs last year...but she has started up again. Two Sunday's ago she laid her first egg...from one of her perches, so it fell and cracked. She didn't pay a second of attention to it. I was expecting a second on the Tuesday - but nothing happened. She was eating fine, socializing, and had regular poops (if you'll pardon the word). So I didn't worry. Then this past Sunday she laid her second egg. She laid it from a lower perch - it fell, but didn't break. She still won't have anything to do with it. Again she is eating fine, munch on her cuttle and calcium block when she wants, and doesn't seem bothered at all. I'm just wondering whether this is "normal"...only laying once a week... ROFLMAO Once. But that doesn't count the head I get or give, the standing up action in the furniture store or the standing up action in the McDonald's washroom. Not to mention the cash I make from the Foreign Legion closing on Saturday nights. This group was a viable and valuable resource for some until "larrikins" as yourself destroyed any sense of information value being gained from subscribing. I myself used it to real worth a few years ago when I had a problem with a ring-neck. Today the group is dead. And that my friend is directly down to you and the arsehole Gymmy B0b.
