starting about 2 months ago, he became very noisy, almost downright
irritating. he has always whistled and chirped to his hearts content
but now the whistles and chirps have become loud SHRIEKS that he
will do over and over and over...and over!!!
i get him up around 7am and i put him on our east facing screen
enclosed porch and almost like clockwork, the whistles
and chirps will turn to shrieks around 11 to noon.
I have changed out his sticks, given him new toys, spend alot of time
with him (i work out of the house) all to no avail.
i have noticed that the color/size of his droppings has also changed
from "sunny side up" to wet piles of green and white. i have also
noticed he no longer eats the sunflower seeds or any thing big...only
the small stuff.
so does anyone have any idea?

First, take him to an Avian vet to make sure the change in his droppings are
not an indicator of infection or illness.
He's a fine gentleman, but he's getting old and cranky. It's quite possible
he has become sensative to sunlight in his old age, too. Try moving him back
into the house around 11, to a room with a window on the shady side, and
provide a perch for him to look out. If he enjoys a spray from a misting
bottle, offer it when you bring him in, because water therapy can be a big
stress relief for many birds.
If this solves his behavioral issues, then you should look into adding a
dark cover or blind to the side of the porch that gets direct sunlight
around that time and try to return to your normal schedule again.
