I purchased some brine shrimp eggs from the LFS today.
I checked a bit on line and it looks like a bit over 1 tsp. of sea salt
per 1 cup of water, with a pinch of baking soda?
Once the eggs hatch and I filter out the shrimp and add them to the
betta tank, about how long can I expect them to live in fresh water for
the ones he does not eat right away?
I've not done the "sea monkey" thing for years. ;-)

They will all be gone ,before you get the lid back on the tank.
