I would very much appreciate help re the sea salt in fresh water issue. Some of my babies have tail rot and I have been advised that besides the antifugal dose I should add 300 grms of sea salt to my fresh water tank. It is 100 ltrs in size. Can any body help. It is 100 ltrs in size. Can any body help. ===================== If your fish have tail rot I would first check the WATER QUALITY. Healthy goldfish in clean water don't develop fin rots. I hope you've been doing your weekly partial water changes. That will do more good than adding salt. I raise goldfish and don't use salt at all. Try to use as little salt as possible, maybe increasing it until condition clears up. |
