Goldfish in bowls don't live too long either, with some exceptions. It would be best to get them an aquarium. Thanks for your information. I have 2 ten cent feeder fish I bought about 4 years ago; and yes they are alive and well. I just keep getting them a bigger bowl and they keep growing. I had a 10 cent feeder that my daughter won during a Finding Nemo promotion in a 1 gallon Sponge Bob Squarepants tank. That fish stayed small in the tank, but it's partner doubled in size. When I moved the fish to a 50 gallon tank it stayed small for about 6 months then suddenly had a growing spurt and quadrupled in size over the following 3 months. It became agressive and I traded it in. |
