I just got a 15 gallon high tank and I'm currently running it with a
aquaclear mini filter.  I was wondering if it is big enough to handle 3
goldfish (lionheads).

The rule of thumb is 1 GF per 10 gallons.

no its not. Also high tanks aren't good for oxygenation.

If the Aquaclear mini is anything like the Penguin mini there is -no way- you
can have that many fish. Even one would be too many.

Besides, you do know the rule is 1 goldfish per 10 gallons, right?

I wasn't aware of that rule, I'm just getting into goldfish but i do have
tropical tanks.

I do have a bubbler running in the tank 24-7 so the surface is never calm.
What filter would you recommend for this 15gal high tank?

I'd need to see it. A fluval 2+ might do the trick *might*
