I just wanted to report some happiness in the sad news.. I hope all the bunnies that are ill are feeling better and Im sorry to all those that has lost...:( Lila, the stray bunny, is doing very well.. she lets me put her drops into her ears without any problems and i give them some nice massages afterward.. I gave her a good brushing yesterday which she seemed to enjoy and I gave her some toys that Maddie had 2 of.. She loves them! I was thinking of using some of that foaming no wash shampoo on her, she is a little grungy.. Is it safe? She is happy crunching her new favorite vegis which are endive and romaine. Maddie eats anything but Lila is very picky..... She is devouring her timothy pellets and I have successfully gotten her to use her litterbox.. She wont eat hay though... at all.. I tried 2 different brands and 2 different kinds.. nope.. she wants nothing to do with it... and the best for last.. today... I saw her bunny binky... : ) It was just a half bunny binky but i will take it.. I know she is happy and that is all that matters.. I really hope her and Maddie get along... Maddie is pretty easy going.. she loves people but she can be territorial at times.. She is settling in quite nice herself.. She is getting used to the sounds and my schedule so she is up waiting on breakfast when i get up... Normally perched on her little cardboard box that she loves.. :) Maddie will lay in the same spot Qtip would lay in when it was bedtime and expect pets and maddie is right there waiting too.. She knew I didnt want to have more than one baby but she also knew it would take more than one to fill my heart back up.. : ) Lila is doing a little better... She is so skittish! but she warms up on occasion and lays nexts to me by the couch and settles in for some love and Maddie Mae... that girl has stolen my heart.. hands down... She was definately directed by Qtip, no doubt about it..
