My flemish giant has never been a big-time binkier, but he has always
had himself a good sprint when outside the cage.

For the past 4 days or so, he's been a lot more lethargic.  (though
still a trouble-maker.) do rabbits mellow out in the winter months?  He
seems to be sleeping alot- well, if not sleeping then just resting,
staying in the same place for a long time.
At what point do you begin worrying about this?

When input and output change...

Toby gets a little lethargic in winter. The shorter days have something
to do with it, IMO.

Summertime, he's thumping and rattling the cage to get out at 5 am.
Winter, hardly at all until someone gets up about 6:30 or 7 (it's dark
right now till 8:30 or so. Dawn in summer is at 4:30)

I'm not sure what you mean... do you mean the bunny is sick?

Hi M,
Is your bunny eating, drinking, peeing and pooping normally? If so, then he
is probably ok.
What I do is take my bunny to different places in the house to get him to
walk around and explore more. Bunnies, like us, sometimes need to be
encouraged to exercise.
My Cocoa goes into the attached garage and crawl space each morning for
walks.

I think the "this is sick " person is a troll.  Just ignore them.  I
would say that as long as they are eating and pooping ........everything
is just fine......We all have our lazy bouts.......My bunny Q`tip seems
a little less willing to move when it is warm in the house but, open a
window ans shes crazy........:)
