I was able to find a feed store about half an hour away that had
rabbit pellets, hay at prices way lower than the local pet store. $6
for 25# of pellets and $5 a bale of hay.

The are probably feed stores everywhere if you really want to find one.

I was able to find a horse feed store nearby that have rabbit supplies
using

Haven't been there yet but they have timothy hay bales for horses for
about $13. At the pet store they are selling (rabbit salad) a handful
of chopped hay with a little bit of vegetables for about $6. Guess
there are some really really lazy rabbit owners. I should have
inspected the hay at the other feed store I visited.

Of course for some city people it may not be worth the trouble to try
to go out to the sticks to find cheap supplies.

LOL.... followed the links nothing remotely where I live..
I have no problem getting my Hay supply but then if you had read my post and
taken the time to assimilate the facts you would have realised that..:)
Guess there may just be some "Lazy" Rabbit owners out there... I fancy there
are a few arrogant ones as well..:)

I did remember NZ, custom built living quarters, SPCA, Bob but that's
