Hi all,
Bob is now one happy bunny.. he no longer gets shut in his cage at night. I
thought it a waste of time as he mostly sleeps. He has been "free" for the
past couple of nights now and when I get up in the morning he is usually
just sitting in the lounge sleeping. We have also discovered he only chews
the corners of the chairs if he cannot run between them. If there is a big
enough gap he pays no attention to the corners. We have also noticed (much
to my horror) that Bob is fascinated with skirts or dressing gowns, nighties
etc. "What are you hiding up there?.. can I hide there?" Its feels rather
strange to be sitting at the computer and then to feel something incredibly
soft creeping up my leg under my skirt...LOL. I glance down and pull my
skirt away to reveal a certain fluffy pervert on his hind legs gazing back
at me all innocent like...LOL.
As for Hay, well I stuffed a toilet roll as suggested and he just pulled all
the hay out threw the toilet roll and walked off. He is not interested in
any treats of any sort. I have been leaving 1 or 2 raisins in his salad
every night and they are sitting in the bowl in the morning. He won't try
fruit either. Banana is usually brown come morning. He won't even try the
parsley. I think the only new foods he has eaten since I got him is some
Mint and he adores dandelions.
The family has also noticed that Bobs tummy gurgles? he has done this since
we have had him but his poops and pee all seem normal. Do bunny tummies
rumble normally or should I be concerned about this.
Apart from me constantly worrying about all things concerned with Bob, he
certainly seems happy enough. He runs victory laps of the lounge and
binkies..:))
Regards Kate and Bob..:)

Most rabbits love to hide under any fabric that hangs down, tent-like.
Tickles the ankles too, doesn't it? ;) For a few months, I moved back home
with the folks, and Gekko loved my mom's robe. It would give her the
giggles when he'd start figure-8-ing around her ankles under her robe. I
rarely wear one... with me, it's straight into bed, so I don't know what The
Phooka would think. But if my snuggle blanket hangs over the edge of my
chair, he ducks under it and peers out at the kitties.

Thanks for that Beth. I have cut down on his Pellets to about 1/3 of a cup
and cut back on the veges as well as he was leaving some of them for the
next day..:))

Cinnamon has tummy rumbles. Loud ones. And she's fine.
I agree about persevering with the hay. It's taken 2 months but
Nutmeg has finally taken a liking to Oxbow Oat Hay. I hope he'll try
some of the other varieties on offer as well soon.
