Marianne, whose Flemish Giant General Patton I have been bunnysitting
for going on two months while she ran the North Pole Marathon and camps
out at a friend's house while her apartment is renovated, sent me a
fabulous picture taken near the Pole in the Arctic.

I hope this link will work:

(It did not work for me with Mozilla, however.  I had to run IE to see
my photos.)

There are also some shots of the General himself, one with my grandson
Kieran, and another of Orpheus and Hubble, just so my buns are represented!

Wow, very cool Nona. I've never heard of a North Pole marathon, and I didn't
know one could 'run' there without freezing your lungs? Or is this with
dogs?? LOL

The buns all looks so very cute!

Here's the link to the North Pole Marathon home page:

I posted this while you had me *blocked,* girlfriend!

Living in Thunder Bay, Arlette, I don't think you need to run the NPM! I
think you get enough cold, ice, and snow right there!  No need to trek
further north!

Love ya,

Nona

Ok, I'll go check it out!

At least I can 'see' you now!!

Yes, I think Thunder Bay is about as far north as I can to venture. I'm much
more interested in the Aruba marathon!! :D

How very cool!  How many people can say they had their name posted on
the North Pole!!!

Wow!  The General's a big boy.  Quite right to get your family in too!

Glad to see Marianne is well wrapped-up for the weather!

Wow, Nona, you're on top of the world! What a neat picture. You are one
of the very few who have been honored at the North Pole.
