Rabbit
Rabbits, though much more commonly observed in rural areas, in fact,
make pretty good indoor pets.
Females are much more placid, than males; therefore, it is a much
better idea to keep two girl rabbits in the same cage, than two
boys.http://www.69game.com.cn/digital/animals/index.asp_opicID=3.html

Trust me; that is wrong.  Although I had wild rabbits, not domestics, the
females were much more aggressive.

Domestic rabbits, not cottantails so make good pets and should be
indoors.  Our rabbits in the U.S. that are domesticated are descended
from the European rabbits and are different than our U.S. cottontails.
Everything I've read suggests that the most difficult bond is two
females. It can be done, and if they are spayed, it can work.
Supposedly easiest is if you have a male and you get him to meet a
female (both s/n) - even bringing a male home to a female is supposed
to more difficult at females are more territorial.  Male/male can work
too, of course both neutered.
