Yesterday, coming in from work, Jodie was running across the floor to his
pen and began to huddle in the corner with a guilty look. I knew
immediately that he had done something not allowed. Of course, the cordless
phone adaptor cord was chewed in half. I reprimanded him with Bad Bunny
several times and he knew what I was saying. When I went to feed Liza and
him, he ran into her pen and went to her side like she would take up for
him. She did! And all night she groomed him. This is the first time since
he came here March 30th that she has groomed him. Did I do wrong in
speaking loudly to him as I did, not yelling. He would not have anything to
do with me this morning and was so upset when I closed Liza\'s door. I
wanted to let them be together, but I did not know if they would fight
while I was gone to work for 11 hours today. I will let them stay together
all weekend since I will be home, with no phone! How do the rest of you
reprimand your buns? I feel so guilty. Carla Liza and Jodie.

This would never stand up in a court of law unless
you saw him commit the crime. Also, it does no
good to reprimand a bunny doing something wrong
unless you do so while they are committing the act.
(they just don't make the connection, otherwise).
I wish I could defend you, Carla but, you are guilty
as charged for being wrong to a bunny!!!!! :)

Carla;
you could do no wrong; all the love you show to Liza and Jodie, lots of us
who have found ourselves in that situation, are not sure what to do,
sometimes we get a fright because we worry about them and what they can get
into. Zoe says speak our language and stamp your feet while pointing to what
they did.
Zoe: auntie Carla, you did nothing wrong, Liza would have told me if she was
upset, about Jodie's reaction this will blow over; you are an amazing
bunmom. wanna know a secret; once i chewed off the phone cord too; ooops
hugs
Zoe

Nothing seems to work with me. If I catch Oreo in the act and point my
finger at him saing "No", he just sees my finger, and hunkers down in
his "groom me" position.
So I just rub his head and get it over with. <sigh>

Comrade Jodie,
You have been doing an excellent job of keeping your hoomin under
control. She is now in your paws, and you can manipulate her any
number of different ways.
I hope you make the most of this opportunity to get lots of treats,
and keep up the good work.

Thank your lucky stars your bun even listens to you :) My Honey does as
she pleases and when she is told off she just turns around and bounces
off. She couldn't care less. LOL

It's not how we reprimand them that's important. It's how they reprimand US
that counts!
