Hiya Laurie!
Molly says thanks! (Or she would were she able to remember to!) It was
an intriguing decision to get them back together, she had been sick
with a skin issue, and was finally better and I got to thinking about
if she died, she would die lonely, and I just opted to put them back
together, I'd rather her have a friend than be alone. Dr Deck didnt
think it would hurt Jack since she had completed her medicines. And
she has perked up with his company, he seems to remind her to 'be
bunny'.
She sleeps a lot and he cleans her a lot. She eats more when she is
with him but I admit it, she is getting to that point. I am dreading
that point. I will do well, but its not me I am worried over, its
her. I just dont want her in pain. In so far as I can tel, she is not
in pain currently.
Dr Deck has seen her and says she is really just elderly and she has
been losing weight since a few months ago. So its a slow trip but I
think we are on it. She is quite the ancient bun, but happy.
Deck did a full workup of her vitals and blood included. Her kidneys
just aren't concentrating anymore, and so daily, I am changing
blankies and t shirts for her cause she just pees when she wants,
where she wants. She eats well with Jack and drinks just fine and can
give Jack a run for his money when it comes to pineapple. I bathe her
about once every other week..I would do it more often if she'd let me,
but she shakes so bad, I just cant bear to put her through it. With
Jack there, she seems more comfortable. He's so funny, he keeps her
warm, he doesnt seem to care she is a bit incontinent, shares his hay
and all that oogly googly warm feeling stuff.
As for bringing another one, I really don't have room, I'd love to but
I live in a small cottage these days, probably 800 square feet all
told that include a bath, 2 bedroom with three closets in the whole
place, a long but small galley kitchen and a living room that is more
like a parlor lol..If Jack gets lonely though, who knows?
All things with time will tell. :)

That sounds like a very cozy life for all Marie - Molly sounds awfully
"there" for such an elderly lady! She's very fortunate. I hope she simply
falls asleep one day and completes the trip across the bridge. Of course, I
wish that for everybunny, but I think she has a good chance at it. It really
sounds a lovely life Marie (LOL - I'm sure Molly agrees except for the
baths - my little dog is the same way - you'd think she was sure I was about
to drown her!!).
Do you have any pictures of them you can post?
