I'm tracking an increase in hay and water consumption.  Water is between
250ml to 350ml and hay has increased as well.  The urine is still reddish
orange and the poo pellets are prolific and larger than ever.  He normally
gets about 1/4 of pellets a day with an unlimited amount of hay.  He seems
very hungry.  He weighs ~2kg.  He seems more anxious about feeding time
now and will even attack the dish as its being lowered down.  He has
finished shedding his winter coat, which I thought could have been causing
the up tick in appetite.  When would this change become an issue?  Are
there any signs I should be looking for?

Is there alfalfa in your hay?  Otherwise all sounds good.  Are you
giving him greens, dandelion, parsley?
