I just caught Gracie swallowing a big piece of the rug on top of her
cage. Sheesh, I don't know what I'm going to do with these two.

So she got her first experience with force feeding. I gave her
motility drugs, olive oil and a couple syringes of water. She hasn't
started acting weird, hope it stays that way.

Sorry to hear that Joe. It is so much to keep focused on every little thin
in their pens to be viewed as a potential hazard. Mine chew theirs too
Hope she isn't going to have any repurcussions from it. Sending out don'
have problems vibes for her. Carla Liza and Jodie

Yes, I saw her with a chunck of it in her mouth and she swallowed it
before I could pull it out.

She's no showing any ill effects so far thank God. I just gave her
some more medicine. She's running around thumping at me now, so I'm
hopeful it will pass. Keeping an eye on the litterbox.

Thanks

Is she eating hay Joe? Hay would help a lot. Seems like she'll be fine thus
far...probably will be ok. Good job Joe!

Yes, she's being a good girl and eating everything I give her. I don't
know how that piece of rug got through her, it was pretty big. Seems
ok now though. I put a couple more pictures of them on my web page

http://web.mac.com/joehalpin/webPage/Photos.html

She's even starting to venture out in the living room now, she's
always been too scared of everything to get past her room. She even
showed us a few binkies last night.

Thanks

Joe
