My 10 month old (well nearly) daughter has discovered Buster's cage.
She's seen us handling him to give him his medicine twice a day and
she thinks he's great.  She doesn't know how to pet nicely however so
her contact with him is limited to her fingertips touching him only.
Today we left the door to his room open while she was crawling around
and she went right up to his cage and he came out of his house to see
her.  It was cute because lately he's been staying in his house when
we come in the room, most likely quite annoyed we keep giving him meds
and trying ot avoid us.  Yesterday she pulled herself up on the cage
to look in.  She loves all animals, it's just neat to see that she and
Buster seem to get along already.  I think it's important children
learn  how to care and love animals at a young age so I hope she will
always have the proper respect for them.

My son was born into a family of rabbits.
He learned from the very start how to treat them nicely.  My biter Boo
Boo had a complete change in personality when Nicholas came along.  He
is now a gentle loving snuggle bunny.  My gooberhead girls loved him.
In fact Thelma trusted Nicholas more than the rest of us humans.  Your
daugher will grew into a great animal lover, I'm sure!

That is great for her to be showing affection and an interest in Buster
She will learn with time and patience how to act with him probably
Whatever he is taking medicine for we hope he gets recovered soon. Carl

He's on antibiotics for an abcess on his neck.  I think it's shrunk a
little but it looks red on the outside.  We see the vet again Friday
so hopefully it's going down on its own.
