For all those who are not on Bunspace, just wanted to pass on this
little tidbit...

Rabbit Rescue Inc. (located in Milton, ON) is hosting BUNFEST 2008, on
Sunday, September 21st, from 11am-4pm.

This is the 'event info' from the Bunspace page:
***************************************************************************************************
Calling all Bunnies and their People! Come out to our first ever
BunFest 2008!

Humans AND Bunnies welcome! (please no other pets as some bunnies
aren't used to other animals)

Features of the event include:

- Rabbit Rescue merchandise, bunny supplies, toys, treats, clothing,
and bunny lover gifts
- Information regarding health, diet, care, behaviour, housing, etc.
- A craft area where you can make your own bunny toys.
- The "Bunny Spa" where you can get your rabbit groomed and nails
trimmed.
- Bunny Glamour Shots where you can get a cute picture of your bunny
taken and printed on the spot to take home.
- Adoption area where you can meet some of our rabbits looking for
forever homes.
- a Bunny Cafe and lounge area for bunnies to snack and rest.
- Bunny face painting.
- A silent auction ($)
- Various visitors from other rescues, shelters and businesses.
- Rabbit-savvy guest speakers.

All proceeds will go to help all of the animals in Rabbit Rescue’s
care.

Event will be held in the Meadowvale Community Centre (6655 Glen Erin
Drive in Mississauga) on Sunday, September 21st, 2008 from 11am-4pm.
Admission is five dollars.

Hoppie and I are going (I'd love to bring all four, but Penelope and
Chicken are pretty skittish in loud areas and around other people...
but we may bring Petunia too), and would love to meet some of the APR
rabbits there, if anyone is in the area!

Hope to see you there!

Oh Poop,
I will be down in August...ah well. Hey Lisa, maybe you'd like to meet up
with me when I get down to Sarnia? I don't know how travelling to TO will be
unless I get the train. It would be great to meet you and the buns though.

That would be great Arlette... when are you coming down?  I don't
drive, however, and Sarnia is a long way from Hamilton (about four
hours or so).  I don't have my driver's license, so that makes things
a little more difficult!  I wonder if the train goes down that far?  I
could pop a bun or two in the carrier and come down on the train, or
you could stop in here and meet all four of them on your way through
all if you are driving down.  It would be so nice to meet you
finally.
I hope you are doing well and that you are not missing your dear boy
too much.  Of course you will always miss him, but I am sure you know
that he is still watching you and is still with you every day, making
sure that you are ok... I think that often of my pets who have passed
on, and it is something of a comfort.

Anyways, let me know what you think about travel plans, etc.
