I arrived at Dr. Saver's about 5:45. At 6:00, Dr. Saver ushered me into
the examination room and said, "wait here, I'll get Wizard". She
brought Wizard in, and he looked great! He immediately came to me and
uncharacteristically nuzzled me and let me pet him. Dr. Saver put his
traveling case on the opposite end of her u-shaped examination table.
Wizard immediately ran to his case. Dr. Saver didn't realize what he
was doing and put him back in front of me. He again ran to his case. I
told Dr. Saver, "It's his case, he's trying to go home". I took the
case, placed it in front of me, and Wizard immediately jumped in the case.
Dr. Saver showed me some poops. They were a good size! But she pointed
out that they were still misshapen (you know, kind of teardrop shaped).
Suddenly we saw him pooping in his case, maybe 15 or 20 poops. They
were nice and full size and round. Then he peed in his case. LOL. I
guess he was more relieved than I was. Dr. Saver showed me the x-ray
and I could see the gas in his lower intestine, and I could tell by the
increase size of the sections that it must have been quite painful.
They were noticeably larger than normal sections. I was told, "No
carrots or banana or treats, just hay, wet greens, and the normal small
amount of pellets for the next two days". I couldn't tell you how happy
I was. I suppose it's enough to say I was swelling with joy. Wizard
looked happy too. He pushed the paper on the bottom of his travel case
into a little ball and waived it back and forth in his mouth.
Homecoming: Rabbits are kind of funny. I guess you guys know this.
They have their own priorities. When I brought Wizard home, I put the
travel case on the floor of the kitchen and opened it. Wizard
immediately ran to his litter box and finished the rest of his
business. Jump and Zolo jumped into the travel case and spent a good
three or four minutes diligently sniffing. I put some wet parsley in a
bowl and Jump and Zolo joined Wizard in a homecoming meal. About half
way through, Jump and Zolo stopped eating and started grooming Wizard as
he ate. I opened the gate to the living room and let Jump and Zolo out
and gave them their carrot. Then I let Wizard out. When he came up on
the couch, I had wet dandelion for him. (Doctor's orders.) Zolo jumped
up and groomed him as he ate. Then the two of them jumped down from the
couch and joined Jump in front of their three story habitat. Wizard
laid down next to Jump; Zolo laid down on his opposite side, and they
both groomed him. Later, when I put them home for the night, it was a
major snugglefest. I have taken some photos of their reunion. I hope
to post them soon.
Because we had lost Merlin, I had slipped into an awful mindset and was
reliving that tragedy. I so really appreciate all the support everyone
on APR has offered me....... Everyone. God Bless You All. I love you guys.

Dear Professor,
I am home after vet visit with Mui.
And i ran to the pc and see is there any post from you.
I read thr whole story and feel so delightful about Wizard.
Mui's stomach and bowel are quite sensitive and she may have no treats, or
any sweet fruit for the rest of her life.
She can only eats lots of hay, vegies and abit pellets only. I do massage
alot everyday and sicne she does not drink water herself since she had a
problem leg, I make sure she has enough water everyday by hand feeding.
A month ago, her tummy got bloated again and i was so sad. But today, vet
said she is ok with her stomach and bowel. You and me both have good news on
this!! It is so happy.
Wizard is a good boy and your boys are so lovely that they are connected so
well.
DooBDoo and Mui hate each other and I cannot bond them at all.
Pls take good rest now and what a great news for today~~ ^.^
Love from Petrina, DooBDoo and Mui
