I dreamt of Cocoa

Arlette & Cocoa - 07 Jul 2008 06:34 GMT
This is the first dream I've had about Cocoa since he left. I was wondering
when I would and found it odd that I hadn't yet, but this was a lovely
dream.

In my dream, Cocoa came back home...he had been away; funny, he was staying
at Beth's house for a while *not sure why*. When he got home, the first
thing he did was do a flop on my bed, then he was flopping in my lap and
sort of laying on his back like cats do when they are all comfortable. I
could see he was so happy to be home and we were doing major cuddling.

He was also very happy to be able to run around freely in the whole house.
Somehow I could tell that he hadn't been able to do that at Beth's house,
probably because of the other rabbits or a different cage set up. I didn't
know why, I could just tell he was very happy and glad to be home. Oh yeah,
and he could walk again :)
It was the best dream. It makes me think he will be very happy to see me
when I get to heaven.

For years after my parents passed they were often in my dreams.
Instead of old folks they were usually middle aged.  I never knew it
wasn't real while I was dreaming.

That's neat James. A nice way to visit with those we miss.

This sounds like Cocoa is telling that he is fine and wants you to know it
and maybe it could be from your sub-conscious mind as well. Carla Liza an

Sub conscience mind could very well be. I was telling Ray that I hadn't
dreamt about Cocoa, then I did...LOL

That's a beautiful dream, Arlette... I too believe dreams mean
something, so I am sure it was Cocoa's way of telling you that he is
alright now... that he is not in any pain or discomfort, and that he
can hop and binky and run around at top speeds just like the best of
them!  Also, perhaps it was his way of letting you know that he will
never leave you in spirit, even if he has in body, and that he is
watching over you each day to make sure you are doing ok too.  And I
am certain that he will be glad to see you in heaven... he will be
doing leaps all around you when he meets you at the gate!  You were
(are) a great mom to him, and he will never forget how lucky he was to
have you.

After our first bun died (good old Zeus) he came to me in my dreams
quite often... just popped in and out, like he was just stopping by to
say 'hello' and maybe have a nose rub or two... not so much anymore,
but I know he's still there.  Also, our big cat Spliffy died
unexpectedly of 'Fatty Liver Disease' a few years back at a young age
- I know this is not a 'cat forum', but she was just my girl... my
right-hand man, so to speak - (poor Matt... ha ha).  I still miss her
dearly... she didn't care much for the buns though... she thought they
were WAY below her level of intelligence... if anybun hopped close
enough she would give them a swift boxing about the ears with her
monstrous paws (she was a big girl, at 28 pounds... not obese, the vet
said... just a big girl... everything about her was just BIG!  We
think she may have had some Maine Coon in her, but I digress...)  But
the poor buns... she could pack quite a punch... they never seemed to
learn, either... i think they just liked to torment her... ha ha.  But
anyways, long story short (or shorter, anyways) she still visits me in
my dreams all the time.  It is a nice feeling... for me, anyways... I
always wake up feeling good after I have been 'visited'.

Anyways, I'm rambling and veering off topic... ha ha (sorry).  I am
glad you had a good experience, and hope Cocoa continues to visit
you.

Take care,

Lisa and buns

What a sweet dream, Arlette.

I think it means Cocoa knows he is in his real home, Heaven.

I know he will be overjoyed to see you in the distant future when you
arrive There too. He won't mind the wait, I think. Heaven is a joyful
place, and time does not mean the same thing there.

I'm sure his spirit will stay close to you while you are on Earth, too.

What a wonderful dream Arlette.  Cocoa wants you to know that even
though he is in His light, he is still with you.

How sweet Arlette!  Clearly Cocoa was sending you a message.

Perhaps a paranormal experience? Let us know
if you hear thumping in the middle of the night while you are awake. :)

Do you think you were really awake and thought
you were dreaming.

Well Daryl,
Since Cocoa was never much for thumping, if I hear one, it will be somebunny
else...LOL

I was very much asleep when I dreamt of Cocoa. I think he was in my dream a
couple of nights ago as well, but I don't quite recall it. I think the
significant things in the dream were that he was all well, which he would be
in heaven, and that he was very happy to be home...which again could be in
heaven and when I arrive there as well, we will both be home. I'm just glad
that he was happy.
It's funny, I was looking at some of his old photos of us cuddling, and I
could really see how happy he was which was very nice.
