Ronie's post made me aware of the years that have passed since I first found
my way to apr -- when I was desperately looking for help for Snowbelle.  It
was amazing what I didn't know then.

My first post was 7 years and 2 months ago - May 6, 2001.  I've made so many
friends all over the world since then - every time we talk about traveling
anywhere (it's been a long time since I've been ANYwhere!) I always think of
hmmmm - who from apr lives there?!

Thanks for being part of my family!

I remember printing out your post (the first post I read) about "Muffy
wearing her high heels again"  or something like that... it seemed poop got
stuck to her feet and you could hear her walking about. I printed it out as
I thought it was hilarious!

Zest was born (from Ziel) t0day in 1999 and I remember staying up and typing
you all, as it didn't look she was going to make it. But she did! So I guess
I've been here since 1997 or 1998 when I got Ziel. Ahh, memories....

Nona - 10 Jul 2008 22:38 GMT
I arrived in June, 1998, mourning my little Netherland dwarf, Belle, the
love of Zane's life.

I'm pretty sure Arlette was already here, which makes her moldier than
me, if not older.

Nona
Arlette & Cocoa - 11 Jul 2008 05:52 GMT
Really Nona?? Ok, I thought you were here before me. I'm just trying to
remember when we got our computer. I thought it was later in the year, but I
could be wrong. We got Windows 98 and I was thinking that something new
would probably just come out and we perhaps should wait. So, do you remember
who started this group or who was here first?

There was Mary blueeyes, Marie Moyes who I do still chat with on occasion,
Mary Jo, Guy, Shannon who passed away sadly, Jacqui Gill who I still chat
with sometimes, they all left and went to bunnypals where I'm still on. Guy
is there, I haven't heard from Mary Jo forever. And...the other gal with the
chickens, her name escapes me. LOL It was there a second ago. Do you ever
hear from her? She went to some bunfests. Oh yes, then Laura Atkins was
there, and that nice breeder gal, Bonnie Satins or was that Ann Bledsoe or
both? I wonder where she went? Marylee was there pretty early on too, and
Heather Wells who still stops by occasionally, and Letha...wow, so many
memories. Mary Beth, though I don't think she was there right at the
beginning, right?

Oh, Norma Karam too. I still say hi to her on my chat, as I did visit her in
Montreal when I was there a bunch of years ago.

Remember how sometimes we'd get into some flame wars...LOL

Ok, you have to check out this site again. Aliena, who I still talk to,
still has this site up, I like pulling up every once in a while for a blast
to the past.

27th November 2006, just before I got Nutmeg.  That's the first post
to this group listed on my Google profile.  Not sure if that's the day
I joined.  It was about spaying/neutering and I replied to a message
from Beth.

So I'm a relative newbie really compared to many.

I followed Mary Lee's advice and checked via google groups.  My first post
was Sept 4, 1999.  What a trip down memory lane, to read that thread.  I was
introducing myself and Watson, while still dealing with the heartbreak of
losing Jasper.  I am teary eyed right now over words of condolences from
people I did not know - Nona, Arlette, Michele, Mary Beth to name a few!

Indeed, this is a special place.

Cathy, with memories of Jasper & Watson, and real live moments with Zeta and
Louie (they have been helping me clean this morning, so we're all worn out
now).

This is my 9th year. It started with my first
computer(I had others but, they were non-internet)

The first thing I did was look for information
for Bucky who was born in 1996.

APR was in the top of the search list and I
stumbled in :)

Since then, a good number of APR'ers have come to visit me here i
Florida. (perhaps out of morbid
curiosity).

Laurie, you did a Disney trip with Jon & Michele
also Prof & Brenda, Beth & Tony, Kris, Carrie from
England, Kris, Rhonda (Fla), Ronie, Griz from
Canada, and Elvis Parsley...... (I think I'm
missing one or two)

And, yes, I had a visit from a Rabbit.

Maybe it's time I return the favor? LOL.

Griz has been coming down twice a year for the
past 5 years and we have become very good friends.

We all have had some great moments here on APR

Oh they're just being greedy little piggies - I usually get bullied into
feeding them. When Max is hungry he often jumps onto my lap when I'm sitting
on my chair - quite a shock sometimes. It's not easy being a slave!

Wow!  A lot of long timers here.  I joined in Nov. 2006.  At that time
we had our bonded pair, Biscuit & Roxie and we were fostering a sweet
dwarf Hotot named Pippin. Sadly he died before being adopted.....the
only bright spot was that at least the last year of his life was
filled with love and a good home.
This is a great group!

adorable little Zoe came into our lives.  We couldn't have picked a better
group and you guys seem like close friends to us. It's like we've known you
forever.

think I first found this site in 1995, when I was living with my parent
