Ok, now you got me started on this trip down memory lane...LOL While digging around Aliena's old apr pages, http://www.geocities.com/bunny_antics/aprlinks.html Some of the links still work. I came across Ronies bunfest photos site. http://hometown.aol.com/roniebunny/bunfest_tc.html It was Robby I couldn't remember, down in the "how long have you been here" thread. Check out the bunfest photos of 1999! I like Nona's pig tails (really cute), and there is a picture of Cocoa and I on the picture board. :) I always wished I could be there! Anyway, pony sound better than pig! pigtails are two. pony tail is one.. braids are just called braids.... I don't know about dictionary versions, those are just the common knowledge definitions I grew up with :) I don't know why they would call a braid a pig tail. When I was little I put my hair into 2 pony tails because one of my ears stuck out and I didn't want my hair pulled back into 1 ponytail where everyone could see that stick-out ear (I subsequently had that ear "pinned" back by a plastic surgeon). Pigtails were braids -- and braids were braids. Later in some other city (we moved a lot) I heard the 2 ponytails called pigtails. It was all very confusing, moving around and picking up different colloquialisms! I think I agree with everyone!! Laurie, the peacemaker, is right!
