Arlette & Cocoa - 14 Jul 2008 07:44 GMT
Since Cocoa went home, I've been spending a bit more time with all my other
critter friends. I have many: dogs that I know from walking to work down
many laneways. I can tell you their names, but I don't know their
humans...LOL The dog in these photos is called Strider. He's a sweet
standard poodle who likes to eat grass. When I first met him, I was trolling
the lanes for Cocoa's salad. I had a handful of grass which he begged to
have some. Now, when I visit him in summer, he wants me to pick him grass.
Is that weird or what?

I also bunny sat for Bailey on Saturday. Her humans called me up, because
they were camping etc. I only looked after her on Saturday, but we had fun.
I cuddled her, then let her out for a run. She isn't one to be picked up at
all. She fights so much, I risk hurting her, so I let her cage down on the
floor; she jumped out on her own, then did the same when it was time to go
back in...verlly sneeky :) I also get to trim her nails for her. From the
sounds of them, they need trimming soon.

She lives in a not so great cage, but she spends most of her time on their
porch which she likes a lot.

So, here are photos of my friends at Webshots.

Hi ML,
We have quite a few squirrels, but none that I know too well since my
neighbour is adamant that nobody feeds them. She doesn't like them burying
peanuts in her garden.

I'm mainly focussing on my domestic critter friends, though I should put a
picture of BJ the Blue Jay in there, he's practically tame. :)

Cool critters Arlette.  I just noticed on webshots it goes into
details about the type of camera and all the settings for each shot.
Pretty cool!
