http://community.webshots.com/user/pinktrixrabbit Introducing the newest member of our family. Here's Roscoe - a 7 week old puggle. We were thinking of getting a puppy in the spring and this one kind and a little good fortune just kinda happened. And I am happy to say the buns were so unphased when they saw him. Sharkey thumped once. Boo Boo could care less, Louise kinda just ignores him and Hershey is curious about him. I thought for sure Hershey would smell him and stomp and hide, but no. I am happily surprised so far. This afternoon we'll let the buns have some run time and see how that goes, but so far so good. Nicholas is thrilled. I stressed to him the importance of making the buns feel secure and loved during this transition. Even though we have a new addition, we love our buns very much and we need to make sure they get just as much love and affection as before. I have to say on a personal note, I really needed something to cheer me up. My grandmother is 99 and just all of a suden her health, which has always been great took a bad turn. She lived by herself and took no medication up until about 2 months ago. Now she is in the hospital with a serious chest infection and the outlook is not good. To make matters worse, she lives in Milwaukee and I am in CT. I'm very sad by this, she is a great lady. Please send vibes for whatever He may have in store for her. Thanks. Thanks Carla, the outlook for my grandma is not good. We're really just waiting at this point. Roscoe went to the vet for the first time today. He checks in at 6.5 pounds. The hubby brought him down to work and he promptly peed on the floor! Nicholas loves Roscoe, except when he is trying to sleep and Roscoe want to snuggle.
