On the top of Mr. Smokey Stewart and Eurydice's condo is a larger-than-life bust of Athena. Facing the goddess, and looking up at her adoringly, is a straw rabbit offering a speckled egg in outstretched paws. It is a very worshipful tableau! However, I often find the straw rabbit with its back turned to Athena. I asked Ira, the only other human living here, if he was moving the rabbit. He vehemently denied it. I have tried to make the rabbit move on its own by jiggling and whacking the condo. I figured that it must be slightly off balance and rotate itself when the rabbits move in the condo. I cannot get it to turn! Somehow Eurydice and Mr. Smokey Stewart (or????) are accomplishing this on their own. It's a mystery. Nona Hi We have a carved in wood Kikuyu figure on our mantelpiece of a native dressed in shorts and smoking a pipe. He used to get turned facing the wall when we face him into the room. None of us did it. Reckon there was a poltergeist. When 'he' saw we were interested but not bothered he stopped!
