Hi
Does anyone know if buns can hear what we do or is their hearing range wider
than ours? Both rabbits seem to respond better to my mouth clicking if I go
for a lower note than natural. I was wondering whether they make sounds too
low for us to hear.

i dont know about that myself Richard,, i will be anxious to see what
everyone writes.. My new bun has ears that go for miles.. LOLOL... he
seems to hear everything. and i have two parakeets. I cant even see
their ears. but i could be in another place in the house and i make a
high pitched squeek like i always do to them.. and they respond.

They are famously good listeners.
I talk to mine all the time!
Just look at the ears.
When mine talk, they often do so in the lower registers.
Get a bunny really happy, and she will grunt.

I totally agree. Louise hears me get up in the morning. She goes
nuts in her cage and the rest follow while they wait for me to get
their carrots. They know they get carrots when I get up. In the
evening when they hear the clinking of Louise's cage they get eager
because they know they get a craisins. Boo Boo perks up when you talk
to him. The ears move when you mention their name.
