He never actually left, except for brief stint in the front yard through a gap in the gate. It took forever to corner him in the back yard, though. Far too many wonderful hidey places for dwarf bunnies... He made another dash for freedom this morning when I opened the back door to let the cat out, but didn't make it off the deck.
