Lumps on scruff of neck?

A couple of days ago we noticed a small, pimple-like lump on the back of
our one-year-old Beelzebunny's neck.  Today there are two, and the first
one has grown more to the size of a cyst.

We've already made a vet appointment, but in the meantime we're anxious.
She's still out earning her nickname every waking moment, so she's not
acting sick, and none of our other buns have bumps, so we're inclined to
discount fleas or mites (not ruling them out, though).  But...

What could these bumps possibly be?

Don't know about the cyst possibility, but also could be fatty tissue
Good
luck at the vets, hope it is quickly treatable for her. Carla Liza and

All animals are prone to getting acne like pimpels if they have oily skin,
yes fur and all; but it does sound like bites of some kind, hope she is not
uncomfortable, but if she is her old self that's a good sign. Good luck with
the vet appt tomorrow, be sure to keep us updated.

It's great that you are taking her to the vet ASAP. That will surely
alleviate your concerns.

Buns I have owned have sometimes had marks in or near the scruff area --
from bits from their peers, sad to say. It's one of bunnies' favorite
places to bite each other.

Even if you decide that you think that's what it is, a vet visit is till
a good idea. If they are bites, the vet may want to clean it up.

Hope the vet relieves your worries!

Nona
